I grew up in a gas barbecue world. We'd barbecue in the dead of winter because every day is BBQ day. As a middle-aging adult, I am a pellet grill man. We purchased a RecTeq grill made right here in the CSRA. I'm sold. It allows me to set a temperature, uses different wood for different grilling flavors, and.... the beauty of it is that I can also be in the living room, checking the internal temp of the meat and keeping an eye on grill temps. RecTeq.com -- check them out!!
